We want to provide our guests with a personalized offer at the best price—that's why we have many individual prices for different offers, so guests don't have to pay for what they don't want to consume. 

This can be explained using the example of the self-catering kitchen:

Half of our guests use the self-catering kitchen, while others really appreciate not having to cook. Therefore, use of the self-catering kitchen is not included, so that guests who prefer to have us cook for them do not have to bear the costs of the self-catering kitchen.

 

Or take breakfast, for example:

Many guests appreciate having breakfast with us, but Mr. X never eats anything for breakfast. He only drinks a coffee. Therefore, breakfast is not included in our price of CHF 14 – otherwise Mr. X would pay CHF 14 for his morning coffee. Instead, he goes to the 24-hour self-service café and buys a coffee for CHF 4.
